Glen Gibson Sculpture

Glen Gibson (glengibsonsculpture.com), a professional Irish artist creating and teaching wire sculpture in Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny, contacted me in 2025 about availability of bog woods of all shapes and sizes to compliment his amazing wire sculptures. I invited Glen up to my workshop for a mug of coffee and a wander around the bog woods stored in the sheds and that was the start of some unique collaborations. I visited Glen’s workshop in Castlecomer and got a tangible look and insight into the range of art work he creates. Since then I have created numerous unique bog wood pieces for Glen, some random for him to base his sculptures on and some bespoke to suit specific commissions he has. The diversity of the work is truly illustrated in the following photos.
